Circle of Excellence Award Nomination
Up to eight (8) individuals may be selected to join the Circle of Excellence Award which is presented at the LSUS Alumni Association Annual Meeting. Every effort will be made by the Selection Committee to include representatives from each of the four (4) colleges – Business Administration, Education and Human Development, Liberal Arts, and Sciences. While there is no age requirement for award nominees, priority shall be given to candidates whose health or advancing age put them in jeopardy of receiving the award at a later date.
Criteria
1. Nominees must be LSUS graduates with at least a Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Nominees demonstrate exceptional leadership in their respective communities, regions, or nations.
3. Nominees actively utilize their LSUS degree in a significant manner, either professionally or through volunteerism, to bring recognition to the University.
4. Nominees that are not selected may be considered for future award opportunities.
5. The award may be presented posthumously.
6. Self-nominations may be submitted.
7. Directors of the LSUS Alumni Association Board may be considered only after their active terms of service have ended.
